Riyadh – Mubasher: Knowledge Tower Trading Company reported a 75.3% decline in net profit for the fiscal year ended on 31 March 2026, with earnings falling to SAR 851,927 from SAR 3.44 million in the previous fiscal year.
The company attributed the downturn primarily to a significant contraction in top-line performance, according to a bourse disclosure.
Annual revenue decreased 26.36% to SAR 24.87 million, compared to SAR 33.77 million a year earlier.
Management stated that the drop in sales was driven by the postponement of British curriculum sales contracts. These contracts are currently pending the completion of necessary licenses and approvals from the Ministry of Education by the respective publishers.
Operating profit for the period fell 40.26% to SAR 2.86 million, while gross profit reached SAR 9.86 million, representing a 15.30% decrease.
Total comprehensive income for the year stood at SAR 957,529 which was down 71.89% from SAR 3.40 million.
Earnings per share dropped to SAR 0.05 from SAR 0.20 in the prior year.
Despite the decline in profitability, total shareholders' equity (excluding non-controlling interests) rose 4.13% to SAR 24.12 million. The external auditor issued an unmodified opinion on the financial statements.
